This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +10 more states.
• Collaborate with airport operations management, commercial airline property management, architects, and sales channels related to airport landside operations, on-call services, and capital improvement design and construction initiatives.
• Build and maintain professional relationships, provide education on Daktronics solutions, and influence the design of visual communications systems.
• Present engaging and dynamic presentations to a diverse range of audiences within this market.
• Work alongside sales teams from the Out of Home, Commercial, and Spectacular sectors as needed to formulate effective engagement and proposal strategies.
• Involve relevant sales and technical support teams as required, including Application Engineering, Project Management, and Subject Matter Experts.
• Identify new business opportunities at airports.
• Manage these opportunities throughout the entire customer journey (sales cycle).
• Acquire a solid understanding of the capital improvement planning and design processes along with the stakeholders involved.
• Grasp various procurement methods (Design-build, CM@R, Progressive DB, etc.) and how they relate to the organization of visual communications systems design packages.
• Prepare successful quotations and proposals, and follow up from the bidding through negotiation stages.
• Organize, prioritize, and document sales activities.
• Develop and implement a weekly sales plan that includes customer meetings, presentations, trade shows, cold calls, planned calls, research, and follow-up.
• Leverage Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to oversee accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all customer engagement activities.
• Apply Challenger Sales concepts throughout the sales process.
• A Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, economics, marketing, a technical field, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills, encompassing both verbal and written proficiency.
• Capability to create and deliver compelling presentations on Daktronics products and services.
• Proven ability to establish and sustain relationships with sales partners.
• Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment effectively.
• Proficient in English, both in written and spoken forms.
