This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Serve as the design lead for civil construction projects at airfields, collaborating with one or more EITs and additional project team members.
• Supervise and guide one or more EITs in grading design, pavement design, marking design, airport operational construction safety, phasing plans, and other facets of airport design.
• Liaise with owners, internal staff, and subconsultants throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Deliver design concepts, alternatives, and solutions during client review meetings.
• Function as the design lead during the bidding phase.
• Engage in construction inspection and oversight, either serving as the lead inspector or providing technical support.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the airport consulting or engineering sector.
• Professional Engineer License is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of FAA advisory circulars pertaining to airport design and the FAA grant process.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Proficient computer skills, including extensive experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• A self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can tackle challenging projects in a collaborative environment.
