This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for the design and assessment of specific project elements, including airport and airfield design, grading, drainage, pavement, roadway design, stormwater management and detention, and utilities, utilizing standard engineering methodologies and practices.
• Supervises and evaluates work conducted by others in the creation of project deliverables, such as reports, contract plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications.
• Formulates project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversees projects to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks.
• Directs staff and subconsultants assigned to projects.
• Monitors team members’ compliance with Primera's procedures and policies.
• Guides and trains project staff members.
• Executes project-specific tasks as needed.
• Cultivates client relationships by engaging with clients, regulators, and agencies to foster strong professional partnerships.
• Works with the Department/Group Manager to promote Primera’s services to current and prospective clients.
• Aids in the creation of new business opportunities through client meetings and involvement in promotional events.
• Generates project invoices and progress reports in line with client specifications.
• Develops marketing materials and proposals, including RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs.
• Carries out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department/Group Manager.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering or a related discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of pertinent experience is necessary.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation is required.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D or GEOPAK is preferred.
• Strong skills in research, attention to detail, and problem-solving are essential.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are required.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills are crucial.
• Understanding of aviation industry standards, codes, and practices is necessary.
