This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the Site Superintendent on prominent projects, acting as the primary liaison for onsite teams (Field Engineers, Technicians, Subcontractors, etc.); relaying and filtering information to the Project Manager.
• Assist in evaluating the performance of onsite personnel and associates.
• Conduct training in various areas including termination, mechanical aspects, client interaction, and other components of Diversified installation standards.
• Act as the first point of escalation for onsite client issues.
• Empowered to manage and resolve client-related issues on site.
• Responsible for verifying and enforcing onsite performance and productivity standards, providing feedback for evaluations and training programs.
• Offer onsite support for integration challenges.
• Aid in the development and implementation of installation processes and standards.
• Recommend training opportunities for the team’s future growth and development to ensure top-tier performance.
• Maintain a consistent level of technical performance while demonstrating flexibility in work schedules.
• Capable of completing tasks in accordance with or exceeding established timeframes, as well as estimating task durations to meet assigned deadlines.
• Provide daily updates to the Project Manager.
• Assist in formulating growth plans for both process and operations staff to promote long-term success.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of the Quality Assurance program.
• Implement and monitor departmental goals and objectives in the field.
• Oversee site activities related to Safety, Quality Control, and QA.
• Coordinate service activities to ensure that all systems in need of support are effectively included.
• Finalize verification of readiness for site activities.
• Support the fleet and/or delivery of tools and materials for the field.
• Maintain and track tools and testing equipment.
• Conduct site surveys for projects and sales support.
• Verify readiness for commissioning.
• Review daily field reports for accuracy and format.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a senior or lead technician, or as a site superintendent with another organization.
• Familiar with a diverse range of audio, video, and networking equipment.
• Significant experience in construction environments.
• Knowledgeable about low voltage electrical principles.
• Possess advanced skills in AV installation.
• Preferred candidates will hold CTS or CTSI certifications.
• Frequent travel by car and occasional air travel is required.
• Employees must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license.
• Employees will be expected to use their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage at the current corporate rate.
