This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Interact with clients to perform comprehensive needs assessments for audiovisual projects.
β’ Oversee the drafting process for projects, coordinating with various drafters and client stakeholders.
β’ Work alongside skilled Engineers and Senior AV Engineers for project evaluation and input.
β’ Employ computer-aided design/drafting (CAD) tools and software to create AV system designs.
β’ Develop and modify drawings, including AV architectural specifications and signal flow diagrams.
β’ Analyze and comprehend the project scope of work and the bill of materials that accompany AutoCAD drawings.
β’ Perform final reviews of project deliverables to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
β’ Collaborate with the project team on a variety of AV projects.
β’ Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with vendor partners.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV engineering and/or relevant training.
β’ AVIXA CTS certification is mandatory. Candidates must obtain this certification within the first six months of employment.
β’ Knowledge of AutoCAD 2013 and its relationship with CAD or CAM, or newer versions is essential, specifically:
β’ Experience in block creation and dynamic blocks is advantageous.
β’ Experience with 3D room renderings is a plus.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary.
