Automotive Operations Manager – Keys

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Foster a culture of excellence in service delivery while addressing customer inquiries.

• Lead the execution of strategic initiatives within the division and engage in R&D projects.

• Oversee inventory processes and pinpoint measures for supply cost control.

• Enhance service processes and workflows to ensure compliance with customer SLAs.

• Administer personnel, equipment, supplies, budgets, and manage cost-control strategies.

• Maintain effective communication within the team, across departments, and with clients.

• Set and uphold quality standards.

• Facilitate technician development and address operational challenges.

• Ensure adequate coverage during vacations and for emergency or unforeseen assignments.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

• Lead, mentor, coach, assess, train, interview, recruit, and onboard essential service technicians.

• Guarantee regulatory compliance and coordinate support for tools, equipment, and fleet management.

• Collaborate with Sales on significant opportunities and cultivate relationships with customers and prospects.

• Achieve results through effective sales and negotiation strategies.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership and influence experience in a mobile environment with geographically dispersed teams.

• Capacity to manage, forecast, and coordinate essential technician resources to sustain production.

• Proficient in key duplication, key cloning, and programming procedures.

• Comprehensive understanding of key types and components.

• Ability to handle conflict resolution with customer operations managers effectively.

• Proven organizational skills and capability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned division may be necessary.

• Competence to continuously view and input data on a computer.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.

• Frequent walking, standing, lifting, bending, and squatting required.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
