This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients within the automotive industry.
• Establish and foster relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to assess their financing requirements.
• Identify growth opportunities for the portfolio by offering financing solutions and showcasing the offerings of Westlake Flooring Company.
• Conduct market analysis to stay competitive and adjust services in line with industry trends.
• Oversee the management of the automotive floorplan portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve any issues or concerns presented by clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experience.
• Provide training and assistance to dealerships regarding the use of financing solutions and services.
• Monitor the conditions and performance of dealerships.
• Develop and uphold risk assessment models to assess dealership creditworthiness.
• Partner with internal teams to guarantee adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assess the performance of the portfolio, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual (English, Spanish)
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors
• Strong financial insight with a working understanding of key financial tools and terminology
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with internal team members and external partners at different organizational levels
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient negotiation and collection abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies
• Capability to work independently and in a remote setting
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• BA/BS in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum of 2 years related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for this role
