This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Foster and sustain relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to comprehend their financing requirements.
• Recognize opportunities for portfolio expansion by delivering financing solutions and showcasing Westlake Flooring Company’s offerings.
• Perform market research to stay competitive and align services with industry trends.
• Supervise the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio, ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Offer training and support to dealerships on utilizing financing solutions and services.
• Assess dealership conditions and performance regularly.
• Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate dealership creditworthiness.
• Work with internal teams to guarantee compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the portfolio's performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• BA/BS in a relevant field and 3 years of pertinent experience; or a comparable combination of education and work-related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of key financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with clients and collaborate with internal team members and external partners at various levels within the organization.
• Strong time management capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and in a remote setting.
