This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +8 more states.
• Driving profitable growth by establishing new client partnerships.
• Gaining insight into client (i.e., dealership) requirements, showcasing the Assurant Dealer Services value proposition, evaluating strategic alignment, and effectively presenting products and solutions to meet those requirements.
• Building, nurturing, and sustaining relationships with potential dealers to expand new business prospects by offering support, information, and guidance; exploring and proposing new opportunities; analyzing dealership performance and recommending enhancements in products, processes, and services.
• Managing the product launch strategy, which includes conducting market research, analyzing competitors, assessing product demand, and supporting the onboarding and installation of new clients to ensure a positive client experience.
• Collaborating with the field team to pinpoint existing opportunities, working together on presentation creation and lead generation through joint prospecting and sales efforts to achieve results for the company and clients.
• Working alongside cross-functional teams in Marketing, Product Development, and Communications to design, implement, and assess marketing strategies.
• Participating in industry trade shows, client events, networking opportunities, and other pertinent meetings/seminars.
• Ensuring timely and precise sales reporting is maintained within the Sales Performance Management tool (i.e., Salesforce).
• Traveling domestically to industry partners, clients, and other business development opportunities as needed.
• At least 10 years of successful Business to Business sales experience in F&I products, training, and reinsurance.
• Experience in a retail management role within the automotive sector is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the various reinsurance structures available to Automotive Dealers is highly desirable.
• Exceptional sales, negotiation, and team-building abilities are essential.
• Proficiency in utilizing PowerPoint for presentations is required.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills are necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and the capability to travel are required.
• A broad network of contacts coupled with comprehensive knowledge of F&I Products, Training, and Reinsurance structures is preferred.
