Automation Specialist – SAP Build Process Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical resource for SAP Build Process Automation, assisting the team in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of automations.

• Analyze and resolve incidents, pinpoint root causes, and troubleshoot automated workflows.

• Design, modify, test, and refine automations utilizing SAP Build Process Automation.

• Establish and advocate for best practices in automation development, architecture, testing, version control, and deployment.

• Examine integrations among enterprise systems, APIs, services, and applications involved in automated processes.

• Suggest technical enhancements to boost the efficiency, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.

• Offer technical direction to other professionals and assist in resolving complex issues and making technical decisions.

• Engage in the analysis and validation of changes, ensuring the quality and stability of solutions in production environments.

• Serve as a technical reference point for clients, aiding in solution alignment and the formulation of technical strategies.

• Assist in the advancement of automation architecture by assessing technical alternatives and identifying optimization opportunities.

• Encourage knowledge sharing, technical documentation, and the continuous improvement of solutions and development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Build Process Automation, including the development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of automations.

• Proficient in Python, particularly in relation to automation.

• Understanding of the platform's functionalities for modeling and executing automated processes, creating workflows, and developing automations.

• Experience in supporting applications, automations, or integrations within production settings.

• Knowledge of system integrations, REST APIs, web services, authentication protocols, and error management in automated processes.

• Capability to investigate failures, analyze logs, identify root causes, and recommend sustainable technical solutions.

• Experience in defining technical strategies, applying development best practices, and advancing enterprise solutions.

• Ability to function as a technical reference point, guide professionals, and support decisions concerning solution architecture and implementation.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems, change management, code version control, and technical documentation.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, independence, and the ability to collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.

• Preferred: Understanding of integrations, programming languages such as Python or JavaScript, and Agile methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience with intelligent automation, AI, and AI agents applied to enterprise processes.
