This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Engages in ongoing automation initiatives to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Evaluates and provides insights to the automation lab regarding the necessary investment (time and resources) to develop solutions for core processes.
• Develops project plans to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Collaborates with fellow developers in a dynamic environment of methods and tools to efficiently and effectively tackle each project.
• Quickly addresses obstacles and employs critical thinking to formulate solutions and workarounds.
• Understands technical requirements and documentation of essential operational processes and creates digital solutions to eliminate manual interactions.
• Converts client needs, documented specifications, and process flows into well-structured automation solutions.
• Guarantees that solutions align with business needs and requirements.
• Applies structured problem-solving techniques to identify the root causes of inefficiencies and friction points within operational processes.
• Develops solutions with a focus on network scalability to address fundamental issues.
• Responsible for the stability of the solutions created within the automation lab and assists in the ongoing maintenance of established automation solutions.
• Assesses and tests current processes and systems to evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency.
• Breaks down existing solutions and integrates them into approved automation tools and libraries.
• Produces clear documentation on how to set up and execute the developed solutions.
• Implements monitoring of automation solutions to detect errors and track the ROI of each solution.
• Over 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, demonstrating end-to-end expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
• More than 3 years of experience in designing, building, deploying, and supporting scalable low-code solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365 and Azure services while adhering to best practices in security, governance, and ALM.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective and reliable solutions that drive automation, insights, and digital transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in developing with one or more of the following technologies is advantageous: Python, .Net, JavaScript, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, SQL.
• Advanced technical degree or certification is preferred.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation sectors.
• Background in developing scripts or automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or other automation tools.
• Understanding or experience with Artificial Intelligence.
• Capacity to learn new technical languages and tools and discern their appropriate applications.
• Ability to comprehend business processes and develop solutions that aid operations personnel by minimizing or eliminating manual interactions.
• Skill in deconstructing processes into their component parts and replicating them digitally.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Capable of understanding both business and technical issues and generating intelligent, logical solutions.
• Open to proposing alternative solutions to problems and expanding capabilities to resolve fundamental issues.
• Highly analytical with the ability to distill business situations into their quantitative essence.
• Proficient in communicating complex solutions in a straightforward and concise manner.
• Attentive listener with the ability to discern underlying meanings and the confidence to ask for clarification.
