Automation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct automation projects from their inception to their successful conclusion

• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within defined scope, and adhere to budget constraints

• Manage EPC, contractor, and end-user initiatives

• Collaborate with diverse teams to establish project guidelines

• Work in partnership with internal teams to finalize project deliverables

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers

• Provide precise estimates, timely project execution, and effective delivery

• Facilitate project meetings and generate status reports

• Promote alignment with Ferguson’s Intentional Product Strategy (IPS)

• Identify opportunities for enhancing processes

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in project management or with automation/engineered products

• Experience in valve automation, engineered packages, or complex project settings

• Excellent organizational capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Project)

• Exceptional communication skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally as required for projects and/or training
