Automation Engineering Manager – UiPath

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert technical guidance and spearhead the design, governance, and execution of intricate, scalable automation solutions across global projects.

• Take ownership of solution design and architecture for secure automation implementations utilizing UiPath and other RPA/intelligent automation technologies.

• Establish and uphold technical standards, architectural patterns, and delivery frameworks across various projects and international teams.

• Integrate cutting-edge technologies, tools, and methodologies such as Agentic AI, Process Mining, and AI Center.

• Foresee technical and delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies across different regions.

• Execute code and design reviews, advocating for CI/CD practices, testing frameworks, and best practices in automation governance.

• Lead the resolution of intricate technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production challenges.

• Counsel clients on adopting automation technologies and making architectural decisions, optimizing business value and ROI.

• Drive proposals and assist in business development through workshops, presentations, and pre-sales discussions.

• Convey technical capabilities into business advantages for senior, non-technical stakeholders.

• Represent Roboyo in client workshops and industry forums as a subject-matter expert.

• Collaborate to create long-term technology roadmaps that align with client business objectives.

• Develop reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators, contributing to technical thought leadership.

• Promote regional capacity building through training, awareness sessions, and hands-on enablement.

• Conduct technical workshops and discovery sessions to convert business requirements into scalable automation solutions.

• Manage, mentor, and nurture a team of automation engineers.

• Oversee the complete delivery of client engagements, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Take charge of technical estimations, delivery planning, execution, and resource allocation for global automation initiatives.

• Monitor delivery KPIs, manage risks, and guarantee compliance with internal processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Intelligent Automation/RPA, ideally with UiPath.

• Proficient in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and large-scale automation implementations.

• Experience in owning solution architecture and technical design for complex, scalable automation solutions.

• Strong grasp of APIs, SQL, Git/version control, and best practices in software engineering.

• Familiarity with automation testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment governance.

• Proven experience leading and mentoring automation engineering teams, including distributed or global teams.

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills with senior/executive and international stakeholders.

• Ability to inspire and mobilize teams, provide coaching for performance, and drive strategic alignment across functions.

• Strong commercial acumen, including identifying growth opportunities, contributing to proposals, and shaping client-facing solutions.

• A history of sharing expertise, creating reusable assets, and contributing to training or thought-leadership initiatives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• UiPath certifications such as Advanced Developer, Solution Architect, Infrastructure Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or Agentic Automation certifications are preferred.

• Experience with Power Automate and/or Automation Anywhere is a plus.

• Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, technical sales support, and solution estimation is a bonus.

• Familiarity with Agentic AI, AI Center, Action Center, or AI-powered automation solutions is advantageous.

• Experience in building AI solutions using Microsoft, GCP, Lang ecosystem, n8n, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Exposure to low-code platforms such as Appian, Mendix, or Power Apps is beneficial.

• Python programming skills are a plus.

• Experience with Process Mining tools such as UiPath Process Mining or Celonis is an advantage.

• Experience with UiPath Test Suite or other automation testing platforms is desirable.

• Experience in global or distributed delivery environments is a plus.
