This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Create detailed shop drawings, layouts, and multi-view drafts utilizing AutoCAD or comparable CAD software.
• Transform sketches, hand-drawn designs, and architectural notes into accurate digital representations.
• Ensure all designs adhere to fabrication constraints, construction standards, and project requirements.
• Maintain and regularly update the AutoCAD block library.
• Support architects and engineers with estimating, plan takeoffs, crowdsourcing, bid preparation, and other pre-construction tasks.
• Generate thorough planning reports and visual materials for client presentations.
• Document and monitor daily and weekly project progress for internal tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, field installers, and shop staff to validate field conditions and clarify design needs.
• Offer continuous assistance to field teams throughout the installation and fabrication phases.
• Assess, evaluate, and suggest enhancements to urban plans or project layouts as necessary.
• Examine architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Confirm that all documents, drafts, and revisions comply with internal quality standards and client expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of recent AutoCAD experience; familiarity with ZWCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop is highly advantageous.
• Strong capability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and architectural drawings.
• Good mathematical and analytical skills, particularly for calculating dimensions and drafting contours.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional time management skills and a proactive, self-motivated attitude (“can do” / “will do”).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in sheet metal drafting or coordination;
• Background in the food services sector or projects involving specialized fabrication;
• Experience in providing documentation or support during field installation phases; basic technical writing experience (reports, research summaries, business documentation);
• A creative eye for visuals and the ability to produce presentation-ready materials.
