This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and maintain a LEAN methodology within the conventional Express Service model at designated Volvo dealerships.

• Act as the expert on the LEAN service concept for Volvo dealers and OE Regional Management.

• Oversee the implementation process at participating dealerships.

• Convey program content, objectives, and goals to dealership management.

• Collaborate with Service Managers to develop action plans for implementation and adhere to established timelines.

• Engage on-site with dealership management and service teams to facilitate implementation and ensure sustainability.

• Deliver training on relevant topics to service teams and dealership management.

• Assist in decisions regarding equipment and shop layouts.

• Attend OE Regional Meetings to explain and support the implementation process.

• Provide support in North America and globally as needed for the broader OEM project.

• Participate in safe-work practices and comply with established procedures and policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• At least 10 years of overall experience across two or three relevant roles.

• Preferred experience as a Dealership Technician with certifications.

• Experience in training; former Technical Trainer is advantageous.

• Background as a Fixed Operations Consultant for an OEM or technology partner.

• Experience as a Dealership Service Manager or in management roles for 3 to 5 years is required.

• Experience as a Service Advisor.

• Preferred experience of 1–2 years in direct dealership consulting and/or training.

• Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate personnel without direct authority.

• Capability to leverage relationships and advocate for the business case for change.

• High proficiency in analyzing dealer financial and operational assessment data.

• Ability to establish and implement metrics focused on growth, customer satisfaction, and ROI.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong project management skills.

• Solid understanding of the retail dealership industry, evolving technology, and customer expectations.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient with dealer management systems, such as CDK and Reynolds.

• Proficient with PC applications in a Windows environment.

• LEAN Management experience is a significant advantage.

• Ability to work in a standard office environment and perform extensive computer-based tasks, including telephone usage.

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. of luggage.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
