This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +38 more states.
• Create and develop innovative insurance products, rules, coverages, and enhancements.
• Spearhead state expansion by constructing and implementing pricing models for new states while optimizing existing models.
• Conduct research and recommend new products, rules, coverages, and enhancements.
• Manage the comprehensive rollout process from pricing analysis to launch and subsequent monitoring.
• Leverage AI and machine learning tools to enhance pricing accuracy, uncover emerging risk patterns, and expedite analytical workflows.
• Collaborate with actuarial, product, and compliance teams to ensure features are technically robust and ready for regulatory approval.
• Develop and uphold dashboards and KPIs that track newly launched products and pricing features.
• Convert market and competitive research findings into product recommendations and pricing modifications.
• Recognize and prepare for pricing innovation opportunities prior to state expansion, ensuring readiness for regulatory review and market entry.
• Over 5 years of experience in insurance product development; personal auto insurance experience is preferred but not essential.
• Background in building or launching new insurance products, features, or rating enhancements.
• Experience in supporting state expansion, including the development of new-state pricing models and ensuring regulatory readiness.
• Practical experience in applying AI and machine learning tools to pricing, underwriting, or risk workflows, demonstrating measurable results.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory modeling and compliance requirements across various states.
• Capability to translate market research and competitive analysis into pricing and product recommendations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with actuarial, product, and compliance teams without formal authority.
• Must reside and work full-time in one of the specified U.S. states or, for remote technical roles, in Ontario, Canada.
