This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Provision of technical information, presentation, and marketing of the relevant AbbVie products to practicing specialists and physicians in hospitals, in accordance with § 76 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
• Implementation of the brand strategy.
• Market analysis based on available data, evaluation of the regional market concerning the revenue development of the product and that of competitors, identifying potentials and critical developments.
• Development, coordination, and execution of a territory plan within the in-field team.
• Competent client management, meaning active consultation of physicians, pharmacists, and potentially health organizations.
• Conceptualization, organization, and execution of training events, as well as participation in regional and national events.
• Establishment and expansion of networks between hospitals, practicing physicians, and other stakeholders crucial to patient care.
• Collection of market information and customer insights; assessment of customer positioning within the sales cycle.
• Proactive communication with the regional manager.
• Professional reporting: timely and proper completion of all administrative tasks.
• Effective collaboration within the in-field team and beyond.
• Promotion of open communication and a constant exchange of experiences and ideas.
• Proactive and continuous commitment to addressing customer needs.
• Shared responsibility for achieving regional objectives.
• Compliance with all applicable functional requirements as well as legal and regulatory obligations, including procedures and policies concerning ethics and compliance, as well as the "Principles of Business Conduct (Code of Business Conduct)."
• Successfully completed scientific degree, training as a pharmaceutical representative, or required expertise according to §75 of the German Medicines Act.
• Basic knowledge of GxP.
• Experience collaborating within an in-field team and in responsible interdisciplinary project management in a matrix organization.
• Solid knowledge in the therapeutic area.
• Several years of field service experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrable above-average sales success preferred, ideally in the therapeutic area.
• Ability to present complex scientific concepts appropriately for the target audience and engage in discussions with various customer groups.
• High persuasive ability, along with a strong presentation and closing personality with pronounced communication skills (Challenger methodology).
• Strong capability to continuously adapt to changing market conditions and innovate personal work methods accordingly.
• High level of motivation and energy to pursue and achieve goals.
• Excellent performance management to continually optimize goal achievement in sales.
• Strong digital competence and proficient use of field service programs (Veeva CRM and CLM, XPM, WebEx, etc.) as well as MS Office.
• High analytical skill combined with creativity.
