Audio/Visual Sales Representative – South East Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize sales expertise to strategically foster relationships.

• Comprehend and effectively communicate the advantages of indoor LED displays over alternative technologies.

• Actively engage in cold calling AV Integrators to inform them about Daktronics products.

• Create a strategy to onboard targeted integrators.

• Work in conjunction with the AV Sales team to collect market insights.

• Recognize project and customer requirements, and organize the involvement of relevant sales and support teams.

• Design and deliver engaging presentations in various environments.

• Formulate a weekly sales plan.

• Employ Salesforce for account management, sales opportunities, and customer relationship functions.

• Regularly use Salesforce for managing accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all aspects of customer management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, a technical field, or a related area, or equivalent experience.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Mechanical proficiency.

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment effectively.

• Must be willing to travel by air and ground, adhering to the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

• Capability to fulfill all workplace safety standards.

• Preferably 3-5 years of field sales experience, including negotiating and purchase agreements.

• Experience in selling to or working within the Audio-Visual Industry is advantageous.

• Strong computer proficiency, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.

• Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus.
