Audio Transcription Reviewer, Cantonese – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Evaluate completed Cantonese-English audio transcriptions for precision and thoroughness

• Confirm audio segmentation and speaker identification

• Detect and rectify transcription, segmentation, and formatting mistakes

• Ensure accurate transcription of healthcare terminology when relevant

• Adhere to project guidelines to uphold consistent quality standards

• Raise any unclear or complex cases as needed

• Liaise with the Project Manager for any needed clarifications

• Finish assigned batches within the designated project timeline

⛳️ Requirements

• Project duration of approximately 2 months, from August to September 2026

• Mandatory onboarding training conducted during office hours, GMT+8

• Proficiency in spoken Cantonese

• Ability to read and write in Traditional Chinese

• Familiarity with the Hong Kong Cantonese accent

• Comfort in reviewing Cantonese-English dialogues that feature code-switching and occasional English medical terminology

• Proficient in English for effective project communication and comprehension of guidelines

• Strong attention to detail with the capability to spot transcription and segmentation discrepancies

• Familiarity with utilizing a Cantonese Jyutping keyboard

• Ability to consistently adhere to detailed project guidelines

• Access to a laptop or desktop computer, a headset, and a reliable internet connection

• Experience in reviewing transcriptions, subtitles, or related language content is preferred

• A background in healthcare or knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous

• Prior experience in transcription, quality control, data annotation, localization, or AI language projects is a plus
