Attorney, Bodily Injury Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and resolve bodily injury claims represented by attorneys within the Extended Handler Bodily Injury Casualty Unit.

• Verify loss details for intricate automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages.

• Negotiate settlements within the designated authority limits.

• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and determine the proper handling for complex cases.

• Utilize an advanced understanding of company insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational connections.

• Investigate all facets of complex auto claims with discretion and autonomy.

• Review, assess, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims when necessary.

• Identify vehicle body components and other possible property damages.

• Recognize customer needs and address them with suitable customer service skills.

• Mentor and assist junior team members to ensure consistent, high-quality claim handling and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Extended Handler Bodily Injury Adjuster for attorney-represented claims.

• Strong background in bodily injury evaluation and coverage investigation.

• Capability to handle a substantial caseload while maintaining a customer-centric and empathetic approach.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Preference for candidates located in Central or Mountain time zones.

• Knowledge of Colossus is advantageous.

• Experience with handling claims in Washington State is a plus.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Individuals currently holding an active insurance license must revoke all existing appointments before onboarding and must not have outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace is required.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
