Attorney, Bodily Injury Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve bodily injury claims represented by attorneys within the Extended Handler Bodily Injury Casualty Unit.

• Confirm the facts surrounding complex automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.

• Negotiate settlements within designated authority limits.

• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and determine the appropriate handling for complex cases.

• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of company insurance policies, the industry, and organizational dynamics.

• Discreetly investigate all facets of complex auto claims with increased levels of authority.

• Review, assess, and negotiate claims that are moderate to complex in nature.

• Recognize vehicle body parts and other potential property damages.

• Identify customer needs and effectively address them using suitable customer service skills.

• Mentor and support junior members of the team.

• Promote consistent, high-quality claim handling and team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing attorney-represented bodily injury claims.

• Background in investigating complex automobile accident claims, including assessing coverage, liability, and damages.

• Expertise in reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating claims of moderate to complex injury.

• Advanced knowledge of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational relationships.

• Capability to assess subrogation or fraud potential.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Proficient negotiation abilities.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Technological proficiency and capacity to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with AL injury claims is highly desirable.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Individuals with an active insurance license must cancel existing appointments before onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during their employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must relinquish that license when directed by the licensing team.

• A dedicated, private home workspace that is free from distractions is required.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.
