📋 Description

• Oversee, configure, and enhance the Jira and Jira Service Management platforms.

• Manage user access, global permissions, permission schemes, and group administration utilizing Atlassian Guard.

• Create, develop, and tailor Jira workflows incorporating conditions, validators, and post functions.

• Set up screens, screen schemes, custom fields, field contexts, and request types.

• Design, troubleshoot, and sustain automation rules, integrating with external systems.

• Compose advanced JQL queries for filters, custom dashboards, and performance analytics.

• Configure JSM assets, including customer forms, queues, request types, and SLA metrics.

• Resolve issues related to board behavior, status mappings, ticket visibility, and reporting inconsistencies.

• Collaborate directly with clients to comprehend technical needs, streamline operational processes, and offer expert advice.

• Maintain technical documentation for system configurations, process modifications, and best practices.

• Allocate approximately 75–80% of time to daily administration, configuration, and optimization, with 20–25% dedicated to advanced troubleshooting and complex client demands.

• Provide support to clients in the Netherlands while collaborating with international teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of practical experience managing and configuring Atlassian products, particularly Jira Software and Jira Service Management (JSM).

• Strong technical expertise in creating Jira workflows, screen schemes, custom field contexts, and writing JQL queries.

• Proven experience in configuring JSM functionalities such as SLAs, queues, forms, and service portal settings.

• Demonstrated capability to build and maintain Jira automation rules and troubleshoot intricate system behaviors.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong client-focused, advisory approach.

• Proficient in English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• A genuine passion for learning and growing within the Atlassian ecosystem.

• Experience with ScriptRunner or other Atlassian scripting tools is a significant advantage.

• Previous experience in a consulting or managed services setting is preferred.
