This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance character personalities, voices, and speaking styles.

• Compose natural and engaging Japanese dialogue that reflects diverse personalities, emotions, and conversational contexts.

• Optimize conversational rhythm, tone, humor, and emotional expression.

• Establish how characters react, articulate themselves, and form connections with users.

• Create dialogue guidelines to ensure consistent character personalities and communication styles.

• Collaborate with global creative and product teams.

• Review and improve existing character conversations to enhance their naturalness, authenticity, and emotional engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Japanese at a native level.

• Comprehensive understanding of natural spoken language, conversational nuances, everyday communication, colloquial expressions, conversational rhythm, humor, tone, and emotional expression.

• Strong creative writing abilities focused on character development and dialogue.

• Capability to communicate in English with an international team, both in writing and during meetings.

• Portfolio or writing samples showcasing character development and natural dialogue.

• Genuine interest in AI, interactive conversations, and character-driven experiences.

• Current location information must be included in the application.

• Professional or personal experience in character development/dialogue writing should be mentioned in the application.

• Proficiency in Russian is a plus, but not mandatory.
