Assurance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop Anima’s Assurance function to instill confidence in NHS organizations regarding patient data management, risk control, and safe care practices.

• Take ownership of customer assurance from the initial inquiry through to resolution.

• Manage Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) support packs and security questionnaires.

• Lead discussions with NHS customers and collaborate with the Data Protection Officer on specialized inquiries.

• Acquire adequate product and technical knowledge to independently address routine assurance questions.

• Involve Product and Engineering teams in tackling new or complex assurance challenges.

• Maintain assurance documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with product operations.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Safety Officer on clinical safety documentation.

• Create a self-service knowledge base, standard responses, and onboarding materials.

• Establish a reliable tracking system for customer agreements, terms, and review timelines.

• Utilize response times, backlog, and recurring obstacles to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Partner with product teams to meet assurance requirements prior to launches.

• Represent Anima in customer interactions and possibly at industry events.

• Oversee customer follow-ups, communications, records, and insights gained from incidents.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in regulatory or compliance roles within insurance, financial services, healthcare, another regulated sector, consulting, or assurance services.

• Quick learner of the NHS assurance landscape.

• Strong interest in product data flows, integrations, and governance of AI models.

• Practical judgment to convert requirements into actionable, proportionate measures.

• Confidence in clearly articulating complex issues to customers and tackling challenging questions.

• Proven ability to transform fragmented tasks into consistent, reusable processes.

• Familiarity with data protection, DPIAs, data processing agreements, or pertinent frameworks is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Capability to develop a technical understanding of products.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Data Protection, and Clinical Safety teams.
