This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee daily operations related to finance, talent, and internal culture.
β’ Manage the complete accounts payable cycle for Vote Solar and Vote Solar Action Fund, which involves vendor setup, bill coding, and payment processing.
β’ Oversee the credit card program, ensuring receipt matching, adherence to policies, and monthly reconciliation.
β’ Process and reconcile incoming deposits from donors and grants for both entities.
β’ Prepare and monitor funder invoicing, categorize funds as restricted/unrestricted, and manage receivable aging.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for daily accounts payable/accounts receivable inquiries.
β’ Assist with monthly account reconciliations, budget monitoring, and preparation for annual audits.
β’ Support hiring processes, track candidate pipelines, and generate reports.
β’ Maintain employee records and manage onboarding and offboarding documentation.
β’ Oversee the Lattice performance management and employee engagement survey systems.
β’ Assist with benefits administration and payroll inquiries.
β’ Stay updated on labor law changes and maintain employee handbooks and policies.
β’ Draft and circulate internal newsletters and manage Intranet content.
β’ Organize organization-wide meetings, events, retreats, and all-staff gatherings.
β’ Communicate updates on operational policies and collect employee feedback.
β’ Coordinate staff appreciation initiatives, recognition programs, branded materials, and culture-building activities.
β’ Contribute to learning and practices that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
β’ Approximately 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably with exposure to accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, or reconciliations) and/or HR or people-operations systems.
β’ BA/BS degree and/or relevant work experience typically preferred.
β’ Previous involvement with DEIJ initiatives is preferred.

β’ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges, suggest solutions, and independently manage assigned tasks.

β’ Willingness to travel nationally one to three times per year.
