This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Facilitate the distribution and application of the Impella 5.5 left-sided treatment.
• Oversee EXCEL sites and clinical operations regarding new Surgery, Heart Failure, and ECMO technologies.
• Collaborate within the region to achieve continuous growth each quarter.
• Inspire enthusiasm and a vision for heart recovery solutions with both current devices and forthcoming technologies.
• Engage with Cardiac Surgeons, Heart Failure Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Intensivists, and Perfusionists.
• Represent the company at major conferences including HFSA, AHA, STS, AATS, and ISHLT.
• Participate in local heart failure symposiums.
• Develop the surgical vertical in established Impella programs across the entire product portfolio.
• Collaborate with cardiology sales and clinical teams to enhance growth within the assigned territory.
• Empower physicians and staff to recover hearts and save patients' lives through the Impella product portfolio.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device sales is required for the Surgical Account Manager level, or at least 5 years of experience in cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device clinical or sales for the Associate Account Manager level.
• A proven history of sales in an operating room is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to meet quotas is required.
• Strong understanding of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy is required.
• Established relationships and a network of Cardiac Surgeons in the region.
• Proven success in technology adoption and market development.
• Experience providing direct patient support is required.
• Capability to drive patient outcomes is required.
• Willingness to travel 50%-75% overnight is required.
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry is required.
