Associate Structural Engineer – Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Create calculations, models, and construction documents for safe and practical industrial facilities.

• Assist in design, coordination, and project documentation to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Utilize engineering principles and work alongside experienced engineers to devise effective solutions.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients, and contractors to achieve project objectives.

• Acquire hands-on experience in structural analysis, design software, and real-world projects.

• Prepare calculations, reports, and documentation that align with project requirements.

• Guide interns and impart technical knowledge.

• Perform site visits to verify conditions and support design and construction efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capability to contribute and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.

• At least one year of engineering experience.

• Must hold an Engineer Intern (EI) certificate.

• Experience in developing detailed 3D models and construction documentation using Autodesk Revit.

• Familiarity with ACAD Software, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design tools.
