• Enhance the depth and breadth of relationships by collaborating closely with clients to thoroughly comprehend their business strategies, needs, and challenges, as well as how Zelis aids in achieving those objectives.
• Oversee and manage revenue targets, which include budgets, forecasts, and product utilization reviews for the designated book of business.
• Accountable for client renewals and retention efforts.
• Effectively facilitate contract negotiations with leadership and manage the entire lifecycle of renewing client agreements while seeking opportunities to expand the partnership.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks such as decreases in volume, service gaps, and shifts in client relationships.
• Propel revenue growth by optimizing existing products, understanding and communicating key differentiators, product strategy, features, and functionalities.
• Successfully identify and qualify growth opportunities to provide exceptional client value.
• Conduct and lead all client business reviews and account plans to maximize value within the client’s book of business.
• Ensure industry-leading quality service delivery and client satisfaction, with metrics including proactive client management, timely escalation and resolution of issues, and nurturing clients into loyal advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a client management role within the Payer space.
• Background in healthcare, including experience with insurance companies or working with cost management, electronic payments, and/or healthcare communications solutions.
• Proven success in revenue management and increased utilization within an assigned book of business for mid to large enterprise clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation, public speaking, and meeting management abilities.
• Capability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Demonstrated collaboration with key business partners: Sales, Operations, Product, Services, and Marketing.
• Ability to anticipate future trends and integrate them into business review planning.
• Proficient in communicating and engaging formally and informally with VPs and Executive Leadership; exhibits enterprise thinking with the ability to influence; proven ability to influence across a matrix and with leadership.
• Experience utilizing data and reporting to accurately identify client and industry trends; skilled in synthesizing data into compelling narratives.
• Strong listening and comprehension abilities, with the capability to understand and address client concerns, feedback, and manage discussions appropriately with clients.
• Estimated travel of 30-40% (primarily domestic for internal and external meetings).
