Associate Solution Architect – Financial Research, CFA Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement high-quality, scalable applications utilizing best practices and the latest technologies.

• Offer technical guidance to various teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Suggest recommendations and develop roadmaps for proposed solutions.

• Conduct design, debugging, and performance analysis on solutions.

• Document and disseminate best-practice knowledge for new solutions.

• Review and validate solution designs from other team members.

• Mentor teams while influencing the future of products.

• Create technical design documents and lead technical walkthroughs.

• Illustrate and explain solutions using technical design documents, diagrams, and stubbed code.

• Adhere to Agile best practices and actively engage in scrum ceremonies.

• Address and resolve production issues.

• Contribute to the continuous learning and enhancement of the team and codebase.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 12+ years of full-stack development experience in enterprise web applications.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading a development team.

• Expertise in frontend development with React/TypeScript.

• Proficiency in backend development using Python or another object-oriented language.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure for web applications, including API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, and S3.

• Proficient in SQL and relational databases like MySQL.

• Experience in object-oriented design principles and REST APIs.

• Knowledge of Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code technologies.

• Experience with Git and continuous integration environments.

• Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Experience with frontend and backend unit testing methodologies.

• Proficient with Agile SDLC methodologies.

• CFA designation with practical financial equity research experience is a significant advantage.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Ability to train and mentor others.

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is mandatory.
