Associate Software Asset Management Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Manages the software asset management tool and licensing database, gathers proof of entitlement, reviews and processes licensing terms and conditions, and uploads documents into the compliance tool to maintain an up-to-date software licensing database.

• Serves as a user interface to assess and approve software requests based on availability and company standards, challenges business justifications, and researches and recommends alternatives in accordance with the company’s best practices.

• Collaborates with the global IT and business community to ensure compliance, gathers and monitors software counts/subscriptions, suggests and coordinates software cleanups, and oversees any installations that are in violation.

• Proposes, maintains, and implements ongoing process improvements aligned with the Software Asset Management Mission, driving efficiency, compliance, and cost reduction. Oversees the Software Asset Management dashboards.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• No previous experience required.

• Preferred: Master's / Postgraduate Degree in a Technical / IT Background Field of Study.

• Required: Bachelor's Degree in a Technical / IT Background Field of Study.

• Capable of following instructions and seeking clarification when necessary.

• Possesses fundamental clerical and data entry skills.

• Able to perform simple mathematical calculations.

• Attentive to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

• Capable of clear communication and conveying necessary information.

• Proficient in conversing and writing effectively in both English and Spanish.

• Strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed.

• Able to work constructively under stress and pressure when facing high workloads and deadlines.
