Associate Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist the sales initiatives of Certified Surgical Sales Representatives and Independent Manufacturers Representatives in the designated region.

• Cultivate and enhance sales within the OR Business Unit to both existing and new clientele.

• Ensure that sales targets are achieved and customer requirements are fulfilled.

• Conduct sales calls to surgeons, operating room management, nursing staff, supply chain personnel, and administrative teams.

• Articulate the advantages of CooperSurgical products in surgical environments and operating rooms.

• Gather and submit comprehensive, timely weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the Regional Manager.

• Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet sales objectives and business targets within the assigned region and territory.

• Complete product and surgical-application training, pass interim and final assessments, and exhibit clinical and product expertise.

• Showcase proper assembly, usage, clinical application, and maintenance of instruments.

• Educate and train physicians, nursing staff, and cleaning and sterilization crews on appropriate product usage and upkeep.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• Entry-level position requiring 0–2 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, ideally in a hospital/OR setting or Labor & Delivery clinical environment.

• Proven ability to increase sales in previous roles.

• Positive business and personal references.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% each month.

• Capability to maintain medical documentation and a sound health profile to meet customer requirements.

• Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Completion of the required product and surgical-application training is essential.

• Successfully passing interim and final examinations is required.

• Must maintain current training certifications in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIPAA regulations.
