Associate Regulatory Consultant – Hazard Communication

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop Safety Data Sheets and labels for chemical products distributed across various global markets.

• Classify substances and mixtures in accordance with GHS-based regulatory standards, including EU/GB CLP and other international regulations.

• Assess technical and compositional data to make informed hazard classification and communication decisions.

• Assist with Poison Centre Notification and associated regulatory activities.

• Evaluate SDS and other Hazard Communication documents for compliance with regulations and quality standards.

• Investigate regulatory requirements and address technical and client inquiries.

• Collaborate on international Hazard Communication initiatives and managed services.

• Engage with clients and Yordas teams to gather requirements and deliver exceptional quality work.

• Enhance technical processes, guidance, systems, and tools.

• As experience grows, take charge of client relationships and projects, provide regulatory consultancy, perform quality reviews, mentor colleagues, contribute to training, and develop new services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a scientific field, especially Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Biomedicine, Natural Sciences, or a related area; or equivalent relevant industry experience.

• Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret scientific and technical data.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage shifting priorities and organize personal workload effectively.

• Confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within an international team.

• A strong desire to expand technical knowledge and skills.

• Relevant experience is a plus, particularly in Safety Data Sheet authoring or review, GHS or CLP classification, chemical or product labeling, chemical regulatory affairs or product stewardship, REACH or CLP, Poison Centre Notifications / UFI, Dangerous Goods, chemical compliance in industry, regulatory or scientific consultancy, or SDS authoring or regulatory software.

• Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a hazard classification exercise.
