This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work on assigned projects under the direct supervision of a PM/SPM, guiding them to successful completion.
• Assist in developing project plans, scopes of work (SOW), bills of materials (BOM), ordering and tracking materials, and scheduling team members.
• Track and provide assistance on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Review assigned projects for accuracy, profitability, and compliance with corporate values.
• Accompany PMs during inspections of field projects.
• Engage in pre-construction and regular status meetings with clients and other vendors.
• Ensure clear expectations and scopes of work are established.
• Attend site walks to confirm that plans and expectations align with site conditions.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Validate material inventories and ensure that appropriate resources are scheduled to meet all job timelines.
• Prepare all necessary reports and closeout documents as per job requirements.
• Be available 24/7 to assist customers and team members with urgent needs, including emergency and scheduled maintenance, outages, and rapid quote requests.
• High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• PMP or equivalent certification or at least 1 year of experience managing critical environment construction.
• Basic understanding of different types of communications cabling.
• Familiarity with both overhead and underground construction practices in metropolitan and long-haul settings.
• Working knowledge of safety, security, Telcordia standards, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with materials, manufacturers, and equipment associated with communications cabling products, specifically UTP and fiber optic cables, Maxcell, sub-ducts, fiber panels, and enclosures.
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and other provided materials.
• Ability to extrapolate requirements to create take-off materials including quotes, scopes of work (SOW), methods of procedure, etc.
• Basic capability to accurately estimate labor efforts and material needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Visio, Bluebeam Revu, or Revit is an advantage.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
