Associate Project Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Supervise global Investigator payments for designated studies

• Cultivate client relationships and fulfill client obligations

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders

• Oversee daily operations and workloads, including the assessment of site payments, conducting client meetings, and managing study funds

• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to improve their experience, address inquiries, and resolve problems

• Direct and manage clinical trial payment processes to ensure timely and precise handling in line with agreements, IRB, and/or ethics committee standards

• Evaluate and manage funding requests for clinical trials

• Conduct primary quality control of visit and invoiceable payment data

• Execute quarterly reconciliation reviews of payment data throughout the clinical trial and during closeout

• Address project escalations, identify underlying issues, and resolve matters to the clients’ satisfaction

• Carry out additional tasks as needed and assigned by the designated team leader

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical trials or a related field is required

• Strong project management and leadership abilities are essential

• Proficiency in problem-solving and time management

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of professional interaction with clients

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and Outlook

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Quick learner with the ability to work with new technology systems and adapt to changes

• Capability to work independently and proactively as part of a team

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines swiftly

• Skill in proofreading and identifying errors in mathematics and grammar

• A solid understanding of basic accounting and budgeting is recommended
