• Become a Subject Matter Expert in Exposure Management and serve as an advisor to some of the largest organizations globally.

• Provide engaging technical presentations and live demonstrations of Tenable Enterprise products.
• Oversee enterprise software trials and Proof of Concept evaluations, aligning unique business values with customer goals.
• Address technical inquiries and offer consultative advice on security best practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
• Utilize advanced technical expertise to illustrate the value and impact of Tenable’s solutions in addressing real-world customer issues.
• Employ strategic technical selling skills to connect with key stakeholders, ranging from engineers to CISOs, and influence their decision-making process.
• Collaborate with like-minded colleagues across Tenable to create exceptionally strong teams and share knowledge.
• Work cross-functionally with product management and engineering teams to gather customer feedback and prioritize essential customer use cases.
• Contribute to future innovations by identifying opportunities and suggesting ideas for new product features and capabilities.
• Relevant experience in a customer-facing, security-related technical position.
• Ability to create customized demos as opposed to delivering pre-packaged presentations.

• Willingness to travel as needed within your territory, typically around 10% on average.
• Previous experience in Sales Engineering focusing on vulnerability management, cloud security, or a related cybersecurity area.
• Strong foundations in Core Network Security & TCP/IP, including knowledge of the OSI model, packet analysis, and other advanced network security concepts.
• Experience in Vulnerability Management, with hands-on use of Nessus and other standard network security scanning tools to identify, validate, and prioritize vulnerabilities in hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with securing modern Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Basic understanding of Container Security, particularly in securing Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
• Knowledge of AI Security, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with LLMs in business contexts.
• Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and its crucial role as the modern security perimeter, including managing user and service permissions across cloud environments.
• An Automation & DevSecOps mindset, with the capability to utilize Python SDKs, REST/GraphQL APIs, Terraform, and more.
• Knowledge of Compliance standards, including mapping technical findings to frameworks such as CIS, FISMA, PCI, and emerging AI-specific regulations (e.g., NIST AI RMF).
• Strong academic and professional credentials, including a BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
