Associate Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create content outlines and drafts for presentations, digital resources, manuscripts, conference publications, and meeting materials under the guidance of senior staff.

• Generate well-researched, technically precise, and polished materials.

• Tailor writing and communication styles to suit various target audiences.

• Ensure that all materials align with project briefs, timelines, and established in-house quality standards.

• Volunteer for and accurately execute data verification in accordance with BOLD procedures.

• Design engaging visual presentations using PowerPoint.

• Integrate feedback effectively into both current and future projects.

• Enhance scientific knowledge through proactive research, including reviewing scientific literature.

• Familiarize yourself with Medical Communications, the healthcare sector, BOLDSCIENCE procedures, and the pharmaceutical field.

• Learn and implement internal quality control processes and reviews.

• Manage and prioritize tasks across various projects efficiently.

• Participate in internal status meetings and keep teams informed about progress and actions.

• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, initiative, and seek senior guidance when necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with client services, creative teams, and the broader BOLD organization.

• Adhere to deadlines and promptly notify senior scientific team members of any updates or delays.

• Accurately and promptly complete timesheets.

• Maintain an average billability rate of 85–90%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc.).

• Experience in writing through advanced education or other endeavors.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capability to interact with senior leadership.

• A proactive mindset with a passion for acquiring and mastering new skills.

• An inquisitive attitude and a desire to develop scientific knowledge across diverse therapeutic areas.
