Associate Medical Director – Neurologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• **In this role, your primary responsibilities will encompass:**

• - Providing independent medical monitor support for designated clinical studies, including addressing medical inquiries from the study team and/or site, aiding in protocol interpretation, and conducting medical reviews of generated data, such as clinical laboratory data and case report forms, to ensure compliance with the protocol, data consistency, and scientific validity. When applicable, and with guidance from senior colleagues, support the Project Manager in discussions with clients regarding safety issues or concerns that may arise.

• - Developing the Medical Monitoring and other pertinent plans for assigned studies conducted by Allucent prior to study initiation and in alignment with contracted deliverables.

• - Reviewing Serious Adverse Events, SUSARs, safety narratives, and performing analyses of similar events.

• - Assisting clinical data management with MedDRA and WHO coding for assigned trials.

• - Reviewing clinical study documents for medical consistency and relevance with support from senior medical team members as necessary, including but not limited to the clinical trial protocol (CTP), Informed Consent (ICF), clinical study report (CSR), and other safety reports (e.g., DSUR, PSUR).

• - Assisting in the setup and execution of Data Safety Boards (DSMB, DMB, or similar) and Dose escalation meetings (DEC).

• - Attending, participating in, and presenting at Kick-Off, Investigators’ meetings, and other relevant meetings for assigned projects as needed.

• - Providing 24/7 urgent medical support for medical and safety advice when required.

• - Training project teams on medical aspects of the trial and therapeutic training as needed.

• - Reviewing Protocol Deviations.

• - Identifying study risks and contributing to the Risk plan.

• - Reviewing and comprehending study medical deliverables outlined in the assigned study’s contract with support from senior colleagues and assisting in tracking budget expenditures throughout their assigned study(ies).

• - Attending and potentially presenting at major therapeutic and drug development conferences.

• - Ensuring effective communication and relationships with (future) clients.

• - Contributing to and participating in client evaluations, visits, and bid defenses with support from senior colleagues as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• **To thrive in this position, you will need:**

• - An MD degree.

• - Experience as a Neurologist.

• - A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with substantial Neurology expertise.

• - A solid understanding of GxP.

• - Good standing with local, state (in the US), and national licensing and regulatory authorities, as well as certifying bodies.

• - Knowledge of GDPR/HIPAA, CFR/CTR/CTD, and applicable (local) regulatory requirements.

• - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a proficient command of the English language.

• - A representative, outgoing demeanor with a focus on client satisfaction.

• - The capability to operate in a fast-paced, challenging environment within a growing company.

• - Administrative excellence.

• - Proficiency in various computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
