This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Deliver regional enablement and business operations assistance to GCO JAPAC.
• Function as a regional coordination and support entity, facilitating daily business rhythm, regional metrics, and reporting, as well as preparing materials for leadership meetings.
• Aid in regional management reporting by transforming raw updates into succinct summaries.
• Offer operational support for regional feasibility and clinical trial planning initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of both internal and cross-functional meetings.
• Keep a systematically organized regional repository of materials (such as meeting packs, trackers, and templates).
• Coordinate with JAPAC countries to ensure alignment and fulfillment of agreed-upon deliverables.
• Contribute to regional updates regarding KPIs and study performance trends by compiling inputs from country teams.
• Monitor regional action items and performance commitments, escalating risks or delays to the relevant owner(s).
• Provide communication support along with other regional-level administrative and operational assistance as needed.
• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or higher in a scientific, medical, or healthcare field.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical operations or strategic planning within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors; regional experience in JAPAC is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, SharePoint, MS Teams, and analytical tools (e.g., Citeline, Trialtrove), as well as CTMS, EDC, etc.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities across various levels and cultures, with the capacity to synthesize inputs into clear outputs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with analytical tools (e.g., Citeline, Trialtrove), CTMS, EDC, etc.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-country projects.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• High level of accountability, initiative, and ownership, showing sound judgment and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
