This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of Process Writers responsible for creating and maintaining SOPs, DLPs, process maps, support documents, and associated process documentation.
• Assign, prioritize, and track documentation tasks using project management tools, status dashboards, review logs, and leadership resources.
• Evaluate documentation for completeness, accuracy, clarity, consistency, usability, operational alignment, and adherence to governance standards.
• Conduct quality audits, perform spot checks, and monitor review cycles.
• Track project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, barriers, dependencies, and resource limitations; address or escalate obstacles as necessary.
• Ensure that Process Writers schedule, prepare for, facilitate, document, and follow up on SME sessions effectively.
• Guarantee that review cycles are completed promptly and that feedback is addressed thoroughly and accurately.
• Assist with process mapping, current-state and future-state documentation, gap analysis, pain point identification, and operational issue documentation.
• Monitor and reinforce team performance expectations concerning quality, timeliness, communication, responsiveness, professionalism, facilitation, collaboration, time management, coverage, and accountability.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level updates on documentation progress, achievements, risks, issues, priorities, and resource requirements.
• Engage in interview preparation, candidate assessment, onboarding assistance, training initiatives, documentation standards, tool usage expectations, and team development activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Business, Communication, or a related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of experience in process documentation, technical writing, operations, quality assurance, training, project coordination, or a similar business function.
• At least one year of experience in leading, coaching, coordinating, or supervising individuals or project-based tasks.
• Proven experience in developing, reviewing, or maintaining SOPs, DLPs, work instructions, process maps, job aids, or other operational documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarize complex information for operational and leadership audiences.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, operations teams, quality resources, project leads, and leadership stakeholders.
• Experience in leading documentation, process improvement, operations, quality assurance, training, or project-based teams is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, DLPs, process documentation, process mapping, and documentation governance is preferred.
• Preferred skills include strong project management, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, coaching, and leadership communication abilities.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Visio, Snagit, UI Path Task Capture, or similar tools is preferred.
• Ability to balance quality, timeliness, stakeholder expectations, and team capacity in a fast-paced operational environment.
