Associate Litigation Counsel

📋 Description

• Oversee all stages of litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation conflicts.

• Manage intellectual property issues, focusing on trademark and copyright enforcement.

• Collaborate with business teams to proactively assess legal risks and create effective solutions.

• Select, oversee, and manage external counsel.

• Direct internal investigations, respond to subpoenas, and handle e-discovery processes.

• Advise internal stakeholders on strategies for mitigating legal risks.

• Formulate litigation strategies, assist in settlement negotiations, and support the drafting of motions and briefs.

• Keep track of and provide guidance on changing legal and regulatory trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Valid license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Over 5 years of experience in a law firm or a mix of law firm and in-house corporate legal settings.

• In-depth understanding of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution methods.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies, systems, and internal processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.

• Knowledge of legal technology and e-discovery tools.
