This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for support regarding software applications.
• Assist in the validation, upkeep, and project-related tasks for supported systems.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document issues related to supported systems.
• Log and categorize incidents while swiftly restoring or analyzing failed IT services.
• Forward unresolved issues to higher-level support.
• Supply data to users, business partners, and IT colleagues to address significant incidents and problems.
• Conduct function and data validations for the software applications being supported.
• Ensure technology is ready and solutions are aligned with business requirements.
• Offer troubleshooting and incident management for supported applications or processes.
• Record incident resolutions and establish procedures.
• Install software and computer accessories for users.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• May lead or engage in ITIL roles and processes.
• An associate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, mathematics, or a related field.
• Generally less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for software, hardware, and networking equipment.
• Knowledge of Thrivent’s technological capabilities.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, mathematics, or a related field.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in a technology-focused field.
• Proficiency in learning agility, service orientation, collaboration, analytical thinking, and understanding technology architecture, standards, procedures, and policies.
• Excellent customer service, facilitation, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Capability to address complex problems.
