This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• In the role of Associate Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the technical setup for a designated group of new Ashby clients. Throughout these implementations, you will collaborate closely with an Implementation Specialist to verify customer requirements before taking the lead on the customized configuration of the platform's native functionalities. Upon completing the initial configuration, you will establish and implement a testing strategy prior to the go-live phase. Additionally, you will document the final configuration decisions made to ensure transparency and facilitate ongoing optimization after the launch.
• Over time, you will work with increasing autonomy while receiving support from more experienced Implementation Specialists and cross-functional teammates. This position is intended to serve as a stepping stone towards a more senior Implementation Specialist role in the future.
• Complex SaaS Implementation & Project Management: You possess substantial experience in contributing to or managing implementation projects for intricate SaaS products (executing a defined project plan, communicating and aligning with stakeholders on progress, and ultimately delivering outcomes that meet agreed-upon expectations). You are confident in independently managing your area while ensuring customers remain accountable for theirs. You work efficiently in a remote-first environment, with the ability to travel as needed (less than 5%) for strategic customer interactions.
• Customer Centricity: You excel at identifying enterprise customer needs and customizing implementation configurations to fulfill their unique requirements. You cultivate strong customer relationships by maintaining high levels of engagement and communication. As a proactive guide and advocate for customers regarding technical configurations, you balance empathy and practicality throughout the implementation process. Bonus points for previous experience with Talent Acquisition teams and processes.
• Technical Proficiency: You possess a comprehensive understanding of a complex product (preferably Ashby) and its technical nuances. Your curiosity about technology drives your creativity.
• Critical Thinking & Solutions Orientation: You take the initiative to address recurring customer opportunities and enhance our processes accordingly. You avoid relying solely on past experiences and instead employ critical thinking to resolve issues. You anticipate how configuration choices may affect customer objectives, ask pertinent questions to validate options, and pair your recommendations with risk mitigation strategies.
• Best Practices & Recommendations: You take pride in guiding customers on best practices tailored to their software usage, ensuring they derive optimal value.
• Change Management: You have experience navigating change management processes and assisting customers in adapting to new systems and methodologies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication: You effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to align and define progress. You proactively communicate updates and risks to both internal and external stakeholders.
• You’ll have the time to execute tasks properly; we prioritize high-quality work and strive to avoid quick fixes whenever possible.
• You will be promoting a product that genuinely excites our prospects and customers.
• We offer competitive compensation.
• A 10-year exercise window for stock options is provided. You won’t feel pressured to purchase stock options upon leaving Ashby; you can do so when you feel financially ready.
• Unlimited PTO with a recommendation of four weeks per year. Expect "Vacation?" to be a recurring topic in our one-on-one agendas until you start taking time off 😅.
• Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US.* We plan to extend this benefit to employees in other countries as situations allow.
• A generous budget for equipment, software, and office furniture. Acquire what you need to feel happy and productive!
• A $100/month education budget, with managers approving coverage for more expensive items (such as conferences).
