This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide direct support for the effective end-to-end implementation of Foundant software solutions for new clients through teamwork, collaboration, and engagement.
• Cultivate and maintain a deep understanding of Foundant software products.
• Offer clients insights into nonprofit sector practices.
• Train new clients on how to effectively use Foundant software products.
• Assist new clients in configuring their Foundant software products to ensure the implementation of the most efficient business process workflows for maximizing business value.
• Maintain consistent communication with all levels of client interaction to proactively identify and resolve problems with a solution-oriented approach.
• Follow up on tasks and projects that arise from client interactions.
• Aid in the migration of clients’ historical data from various sources into Foundant software.
• Advise clients on sector practices regarding nonprofit accounting, such as configuring chart of accounts and creating funds.
• A minimum of one year of experience in philanthropy (grantmaking, scholarship management, fund accounting, or donor relations preferred) OR in client and/or customer service within a SaaS company or related industry.
• Proven experience in nonprofit and/or community foundation fund accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Capability to tailor training based on clients' learning styles.
• Strong technical proficiency and ability to learn software applications and analyze data.
• A dedication to exceptional client satisfaction.
• A meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in meeting both internal and external customer requirements within a time-sensitive context.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong time management abilities to juggle multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
• Experience adapting to change in a rapidly growing environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).
• Demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previous philanthropic experience is preferred but not required.
