Associate Health Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide timely, goal-oriented coaching via video sessions aimed at promoting behavior change, habit development, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to care plans.

• Facilitate personalized, goal-focused messaging within the app between video consultations.

• Utilize the Hinge Health technology platform to make informed coaching decisions that aid in achieving health goals and improving member outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a seamless member experience.

• Address clinician referrals for coaching services proactively.

• Complete processes related to the member journey and updates, including notes from video visits and clinical escalations.

• Foster strong relationships with members, encouraging accountability, healthy lifestyle changes, and active engagement with Hinge Health activities.

• Evaluate coaching strategies and communicate member trends, insights, and feedback to the Product and Clinical Operations teams.

• Assess AI-generated outputs using professional judgment while ensuring personalized, human-centered communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• NBHWC Board Certification is mandatory.

• Completion of professional health coaching training from an NBHWC-accredited program is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in health coaching is necessary.

• Experience managing a large caseload is essential.

• Prior background in behavior change or chronic disease management, including MSK, GI, diabetes, weight loss and nutrition, or mental health, is required.

• Capability to deliver telehealth services in a private, professional environment with reliable, high-speed internet access.

• Residency within the United States is a must.

• Must be willing to display name and photograph/likeness in the product and associated marketing materials.

• Current and expected future residence within the specified Tier 3/4 states is required.

• Availability to work during designated hours of 7am–9pm PST is necessary.

• Evening availability (4pm and later within designated hours) is required.

• Weekend availability is preferred.

• Additional certifications in orthopedics, pain science, women’s health, or related specialties are preferred.

• Medical fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is preferred.
