This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Engage with new, inactive, and potential clients through daily outreach and in-home consultations to boost consignment activity.
• Create and implement innovative networking and outreach strategies to attract new consignors, revive lapsed consignor relationships, and generate repeat business.
• Actively build a pipeline by sourcing new leads, reactivating previous consignors, and transforming marketing-qualified leads into active consignors.
• Consistently achieve or surpass monthly targets by driving new business growth, reactivation outcomes, and key performance metrics that enhance overall revenue growth.
• Provide a high-touch, white-glove experience throughout the consignment journey to ensure client satisfaction, trust, and long-term engagement, while fostering meaningful client relationships that go beyond mere convenience and transactional service.
• Present and review consignment contracts clearly, establish pricing expectations utilizing internal tools and luxury market expertise, and guide clients through each step of the process.
• Collaborate with Retail teams to bolster sales growth and work closely with the Consignor Relations team to proactively address and resolve client issues.
• Secure luxury consignment items from clients and manage the complete coordination of item pickup and shipment to The RealReal’s e-commerce centers.
• Allocate over 70% of time in the field, nurturing client relationships and securing consigned items through tailored, in-home appointments.
• Proficient with technology; comfortable utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital tools to manage the pipeline and enhance performance.
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who quickly adapts to changing priorities.
• Highly driven by ownership, growth, and impact, with a commitment to building a book of business and continuously enhancing performance.
• Results-oriented and able to operate independently in a fast-paced, field-based setting.
• Exceptional ability to establish rapport, gain trust, and communicate effectively regarding high-value goods/services with discerning clientele.
• Strong skills in relationship-building, organization, and problem-solving; excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Customer-focused with a passion for luxury, fashion, and sustainability.
• Willing and able to travel over 70% within the assigned market.
• Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek with occasional off-hours; must reside in the assigned area, possess a valid driver’s license (except in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Chicago markets), maintain compliant insurance and driving record, and lift up to 25 lbs as required.
