Associate Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable and innovative software and application solutions for enterprise clients.

• Apply engineering best practices, including design reviews, continuous integration, and test-driven development.

• Deliver technical proposals and solution strategies to audiences that include both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish technical requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with both business and technological goals.

• Investigate new technology platforms, manage project activities, and enhance communication among teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 1 year of experience in computer programming.

• Minimum of 1 year of back-end development experience and familiarity with open-source technologies such as the Jersey framework or Spring framework.

• A year of experience working with relational databases, including Postgres and MySQL.

• At least 1 year of experience with two or more of the following NoSQL database technologies: Cassandra, Couchbase, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing applications using cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

• At least 1 year of experience with agile methodologies, JIRA, and DevOps tools such as Docker, Gradle, and Git.

• 1 year of practical programming experience in web development using languages such as Java, JavaScript (Node, Angular, or React), and Python.
