Associate Director/Director, Treasury

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with banks and financial partners, negotiating the best possible outcomes for the organization.

• Lead global treasury initiatives related to financing, factoring, and cash management, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

• Maintain compliance with treasury controls, policies, and governance frameworks.

• Advocate for the automation and digitalization of treasury processes and payment flows.

• Serve as the system administrator for Treasury Management Systems (TMS), e-banking platforms, and associated tools.

• Negotiate and provide support for treasury-related contracts, including loan agreements.

• Design and develop the global treasury operating model, promoting centralization when appropriate.

• Oversee significant treasury projects and actively contribute to cross-functional initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced financial education is a plus.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in Treasury with significant exposure to global banking and cash management environments.

• Experience working in an international corporate banking setting.

• Strong commercial insight with the capability to balance risk, control, and business enablement.

• Proficiency in business English is required; knowledge of German is preferred.

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in complex, international settings.

• High degree of autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
