
Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison – Rheumatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement strategies and tactics for Biogen’s Rheumatology Franchise across its immunology portfolio.
• Develop, execute, and support field-based tactics that align with educational objectives and appropriate product therapy usage.
• Lead the planning and execution of advisory boards across various functions.
• Gather insights from targeted customers through individual meetings, roundtables, and congress events.
• Participate in cross-functional brand sub-teams, offering perspectives from both internal and external customers.
• Provide competitive intelligence gathered from targeted customer interactions.
• Collaborate with headquarters in creating promotional content and presentation materials.
• Oversee vendor relations, including medical education agencies and meeting services.
• Identify and engage key medical experts for content creation and promotional initiatives.
• Act as the primary medical expert liaison for international opportunities.
• Develop and assist in congress plans, industry symposia, and HCP engagement strategies.
• Organize executive engagement meetings with key medical experts.
• Collaborate with Program Operations to handle Speaker’s Bureau requirements.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech product marketing/commercial roles is required.
• Experience with rheumatology or immunology injectable drugs is required.
• Previous experience in field marketing or a related marketing, sales, or allied function is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a challenging and ambiguous market environment.
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Biogen’s policy standards are necessary.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends, is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% is essential.
