This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Provide scientific leadership and operational oversight for early-phase Therapeutic Development initiatives.
• Manage Clinical Program Scientists and oversee program execution.
• Ensure scientific rigor while supporting the development and advancement of research strategies.
• Supervise the execution of key program activities conducted by the CPS team, including study evaluation workflows and tracking.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on program objectives and study priorities.
• A Master’s Degree is required; a PhD is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in a scientific role within clinical research.
• Experience in people leadership and team development is essential.
• Strong understanding of oncology drug development, especially in early-phase trials.
• Knowledge of clinical research processes (Phase I–III), with a focus on study design and feasibility.
• Ability to interpret and apply scientific literature to inform program strategy.
• Possess strategic thinking abilities along with operational follow-through.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Capable of managing multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to balance scientific rigor with execution requirements.
• Skilled in influencing without direct authority across various functions.
