
Associate Director, Talent Management – Group Functions Talent Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the comprehensive talent strategy for Group Functions, which includes leadership development, succession planning, executive readiness, and culture activation.
• Develop and implement standardized talent philosophies, processes, systems, and governance practices across Group Functions.
• Act as the business representative for the Learning and Development Center of Excellence and collaborate to create enterprise-wide talent solutions.
• Provide guidance to executives on workforce planning, talent risk, bench strength, and cultural initiatives.
• Utilize leadership assessments to inform development strategies and preparedness of successors.
• Facilitate talent reviews and councils, identify high-potential individuals, construct successor slates, and ensure coverage for critical roles.
• Present data-driven recommendations and executive presentations regarding slating and executive transactions.
• Function as an internal talent broker and support cross-organizational talent mobility.
• Collaborate with leaders and HR Business Partners on development plans, career pathways, and rotations.
• Lead large-scale redeployment and risk outplacement initiatives as necessary.
• Leverage HR analytics and workforce intelligence to discern trends and convert insights into strategic actions.
• Maintain dashboards that track succession depth, time to slate, bench strength, critical-role coverage, engagement, and retention metrics.
• Conduct scenario planning to foresee pipeline gaps and ensure business continuity.
• Work alongside HR Partners and Centers of Excellence to enhance team effectiveness, leader capabilities, and change management.
• Lead complex meetings, workshops, and training sessions with senior leadership.
• Employ program and project management techniques to deliver initiatives with defined milestones, change plans, and stakeholder involvement.
• Navigate high-visibility, enterprise-wide initiatives within a complex global setting.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Talent.
• A university degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• At least 16 years of pertinent HR experience showcasing expertise in talent management.
• Proven experience in leading teams or managing personnel.
• Capability to translate business strategy into practical talent initiatives.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• Prior experience as a Talent Partner and an HR Business Partner.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• A track record of successfully driving large-scale change and transformation.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on execution and results.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• A master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field is preferred.
